Parade – Join Us and Dress Like Your Bike
Bike Gaithersburg also will be participating in the Kentlands Day parade and all are welcome to join. The theme for our parade ride will be dress like your bike! Have a orange bike, dress in an orange dress. Have a red bike, dress in a red shirt. Have a police bicycle or a princess bike, well you get the idea.
Bike Valet Service – Kentlands Day (in old Bally’s facility parking lot)
Bike Gaithersburg has partnered with Two Wheel Valet and Kentlands Day organizers to offer a free, secure bicycle valet service on May 3rd from 10 am – 4:00 pm! May is National Bike Month. Ride a bicycle to Kentlands Day to kick off the month right and don’t worry about finding a place to lock up. A secure area just off Kentlands Boulevard will allow you to drop off your bicycle and/or kid’s trailer with one of our attendants. While doing so, you can find out more about upcoming Kidical Mass Rides, Bike to School and Work Days later this month, and/or sign up to support protected bike lanes in Gaithersburg.
